Squeezball

I spring to life with excitement, jumping, squeezing, and morphing into a playful ball. When I open up, I unleash a burst of colorful objects into the world. Together, we dance and twirl, celebrating the kaleidoscope of beauty around us. As the spectacle concludes, I realize that within my boundaries lies a world of endless wonders.

With Squeezeball, my goal was to create a simple, yet compelling ball animation, seizing the opportunity to incorporate new skills into my workflow.

My process began with establishing a storyboard and sketching out the key frames, laying down a strong foundation for the animation.

I then introduced movement using Mograph and effectors, a strategy that enabled efficient adjustments.

I opted for procedural textures, a choice that not only expedited the workflow but also offered versatility in achieving varied aesthetics tailored to the project.

The final stage of the process involved layering different passes over the final render in After Effects, where I made final adjustments in post-production to achieve the desired look.
